The quickest way: in the app

If you still have the BIC Ventures app installed, deleting takes a few seconds and happens immediately.

Open the app and sign in
Go to Account → Delete account
Type DELETE to confirm

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You will be signed out on every device, and we will email you a confirmation.

If you have already uninstalled the app

Email privacy@bicventures.in from the address you registered with, with the subject Delete my account. We verify that the request came from the account holder and then delete it, normally within 7 days and always within 30.

We ask you to write from your registered address for your own protection: it is the check that stops somebody else deleting your account.

What is deleted

Your name, email address, phone number and postal address
Your date of birth, gender and profile photo
Every signed-in session and saved sign-in token
Your saved businesses, follows and enquiry contact details

What is kept, and why

Two things survive deletion, and we would rather say so plainly than have you discover it later.

Records of investments, payouts and agreements. Indian law requires these to be kept, and they also protect you — they are the evidence of what was agreed, for you as much as for the business.
Audit and compliance logs. Kept as the law requires.

Anything kept is held without your name, email, phone or address attached. It cannot be used to contact you or to identify you.

Coming back later

You are welcome to sign up again with the same email address at any time. A new account starts empty — the old one cannot be restored.
